Many thanks to the Parole Board for the wonderful presentation and for taking the time to meet with us to answer questions about cases.

Interesting how the topic of victims blocking placement at TCs in not mentioned. All too often, people with perfect institutional records are denied placement at TCs due to negative input from victims.

A heartfelt thank you to the Georgia Department of Corrections and the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles for all of the hard work and planning that went into the Family Day event in Forsyth on January 8th. It's been several years since the Parole Board officials have been available to speak one-on-one with family members and friends of people incarcerated in Georgia's prisons, and those officials' time, patience, and helpful information were very much appreciated. The Georgia Department of Corrections did an outstanding job in organizing the program. As is reflected by the handout from Family Day, the Citizens Advisory Panel also deserves many thanks for its dedication and hard work in effectuating changes.
