Although Japan lifted entry denial on October 1st, you should submit additional document Written pledge with Certificate of Eligibility at Japan embassy in your country when you apply Japan visa. Written pledge should be written by your company. Also, even if the applicant will apply Dependent visa, the Written pledge should be written Supporter’s company. I myself feel it is something strange though For more detail, please see following link.... https://www.mofa.go.jp/ca/fna/page22e_000921.html
If you lost your job due to the poor business performance of your company due to the new corona virus, and your working visa will expire soon, you can apply for changing your status into Designated Activity visa for job hunting purpose. Also, you can apply the permit of part time job within the period of job hunting.
Please see 2-. From October 1st, all working visa (status of residence), Student visa and Dependent visa from all country and region can enter to Japan(Without sightseeing purpose). If you have already had COE, you can go to Embassy, get Japan visa and come to Japan. http://www.moj.go.jp/content/001326711.pdf http://www.moj.go.jp/content/001327502.pdf
